Adam is really into Curious George. So much so he decided he wanted to be Curious George for Halloween. I then asked his brother Henry what he wanted to be. He said, “I want to be a giraffe mommy.” So I went to Oriental Trading and searched for both of the costumes and to my surprise they had both. Adam was looking over my shoulder and saw, “The man in the yellow hat” and said, “Daddy can be the man in the yellow hat!” He was so excited. So within in minutes and by complete accident I realized that even the giraffe fit the Curious George theme. I haven’t decided what I am going to be yet.
We wanted to try everything on and make sure it all fit for Halloween! So we had a little fashion show on our spooky porch we put together with Oriental Trading as well. You can read all about that here!

Now it is time to see Daddy and Adam!
It was pretty windy, but the flaps do stay down by the neck area. My hubby wore jeans under the pans, but said he would definitely go with something else next time because it felt really bulky. Adam thought it was super cool that daddy was dressing up with him for Halloween!
How adorable are these guys? We thought it was so funny that if Henry put his head down you couldn’t see his face and he just looked like a complete giraffe. lol. I don’t plan on putting paint on their faces these year. Adam absolutely hates anything on his face and I feel like the costume is perfect without it. He also has school the next day, so the less we have to do when we get home is awesome.
I am so worried about the fact that he might be too hyped up on on candy to go to bed at a decent time. It is his first Halloween with school the next day so it should be interesting. I don’t let them eat a ton, but I swear just a little bit of candy goes along way. He is off a few days before Halloween I wish they would have the kids off on Halloween and the following day, but what do I know? Well Halloween will be here any day so make sure to head on over to Oriental Trading and pick out your awesome costume! Remember to bring something bright with you and to check your kids candy before they eat it and the don’t forget about the parental candy tax! One for you and five for mommy and daddy! Haha!
