When I was sent Pure Synergy Organics Veggie Powers from The Synergy Company, I didn’t know what to expect, but they went above and beyond my expectations. I mean there is so much you can do with a veggie in powder form. I can even sneak it into my toddler’s food without them even knowing! Score!
Tomato is technically a fruit right? I always get confused with that one.
The first ones I tried were the Kale and the Carrot, and I made a delicious smoothie!
It was about 2 cups spinach, 1 cup almond milk, 1/2 cup blueberries and half a cup of strawberries, 1 banana and 1 tsp of carrot and kale powder.
The powders look so beautiful sitting on top!
Then when it was done it looked pretty gross, but it was so tasty even Henry was chugging it down!
I sprinkled it with a little of Trader Joe’s super seed ancient grain blend and I chucked it down! I was able to drink two of these cups and my body felt amazing pretty much immediately. It is pretty incredible how the body reacts to certain foods. It is almost like it is telling you, “GIVE ME MORE OF THIS!” I know when I eat crappy food I feel like crap, but when I put nutritional deliciousness into my body, I feel it!
For the Wheat Grass, I decided to do it the way that I am used to at Jamba Juice. A shot of Wheat Grass with a few orange slices. It felt great first thing in the morning.
Then it was time for the Beet Powder. I am not a fan of beets. I mean I can eat force myself to eat them, but I don’t enjoy them. My husband, on the other hand, loves them. So I decided to mix it with water as it was suggested on the bottle.. This is strangely the only way I can eat beets. I can’t eat fresh beets and enjoy them, but whenever they are in a juice form, it doesn’t bug me. I figured that out a few years ago when I put some in my juicer.
Last, but not least was the tomato powder. I decided to get a little fancy with this one and make a Tomato grilled cheese. I mean I love dipping my grilled cheese in tomato soup, so why not? It was AMAZING!! Totally doing this every time! You can also mix it in salsa or spaghetti sauce. There are so many possibilities!
