I have noticed since I have lost weight that everyone around me finally wants to know all about Nutrisystem. It took until I lost almost 30 pounds for people to really take notice and ask questions. I love Nutrisystem, and I have no problem helping out family and friends with any of their questions. My sister in law has been doing Nutrisystem for almost two months now and has lost about 20 pounds. She seems to be highly motivated and said it is the first program she has ever done that has worked, and that is because you are not deprived on Nutrisystem. She has tried them all including Weight Watchers, and I am telling you Nutrisystem is awesome because you can eat!
While my sister in law was starting Nutrisystem, my husband was going through all of his health scares. It was a really crazy time. I was trying to find the perfect diet for my husband. I figured he wasn’t interested in Nutrisystem because I have been doing it for so long, and it never seemed like something he wanted to do. I brought up some low carb meal plans to him, and he finally told me that he would rather do Nutrisystem. I was like, What? Really? Ok? So we went to Trader Joes and Meijers and I looked at a lot of things that could be used as Flex Meals, Powerfuels, Desserts and Smart Carbs. It was kind of fun actually.
I will have a Trader Joe video haul coming soon. I tried to do a Meijers one, but that was day two of me being sick and when I got home, I had no voice, but I will try to one if I am feeling okay in a couple of days. I am still coughing and blowing my nose like crazy. It is no fun! All I really want when I am sick is Oatmeal and Soup! This is a new oatmeal I tried recently, and I just loved it!
One of Hubby’s Desserts
Last week, I worked out five days in a row, and I was so proud of myself. I am actually looking forward to getting back into once I am feeling better.
Something new we also discovered was Dave’s Killer Bread. We have been using Natures Harvest for a while now, but my husband was always saying how hungry he was. I found this bread at Target and used it to make his sandwich for work, and he said it really helped to keep him full. The bread can be used as one powerfuel or one smart carb per slice. We get the Organic Power Seed one.
This is one of the newest Nutrisystem desserts called Pumpkin Loaf. It was really moist and didn’t require a micorowave at all. I will be getting some more of these!
If you are thinking about doing Nutrisystem Flex meals, I recommend signing up for the Nutrisystem program first. I have been doing the program for a while now, and it is easily to grab a Nutrisystem prepared meal or snack and go without much thought before trying to full Flex everything. One reason why Nutrisystem works so well for me is that when I am having a stressful day, I can just grab a Nutrisystem meal without much thought. I will keep you all updated on my husband and sister in laws progress. My mom was interested as well, but lately she has been having trouble chewing so she drinks her food more than anything right now, so she realized it wouldn’t work for her at this time.
See ya next week!
