Let me first start off by saying I am really sad it is in my last week. I became sick about a month ago. It all started will dizziness and feeling like I was going to faint and my earlobe hurt. I thought it was just the stress of my husband being sick and having to take care of him and two toddlers on very little sleep. The dizziness seemed to get better and then I started working out. After the 5th day I woke up to a swore throat. I thought it was just the everyday cold so I started taking Vicks medicine and it didn’t work, so my husband got me Robitussin. That didn’t work either. Then I woke up with severe pain the back of my head. The left side went away overnight, but the right side was still hurting. I have never had sinus issues so I thought it was ear related and that it was some type of ear infection. Then the right side of my face and my forehead started to swell. The right side of my skull started to feel like a bruise. If you have ever had a bruise and have had some bump into it that it how it feels on the right side of my skull and it is in the area about the size of my opened hand.
I tried getting a doctor’s appointment, but I wasn’t able to be seen for a while, so when my symptoms got worse yesterday it was suggested that I go to an Urgent Care center. I did that yesterday, and I was told that I had acute sinusitis. I have to take antibiotics for 10 days and remove quite a few things from my diet. All of which are ingredients in Nutrisystem food. I am going to try to just flex my meals using the Nutrisystem guidelines while eating the foods I am allowed to. My appetite hasn’t been great lately, so I am not sure I can do it 100% right now, but I will try.
Thanks for everyone who followed my journey. I have lost 30 pounds since July 5th 2016, and Nutrisystem definitely does work. I will still recommend it to friends and family trying to lose. It is a wonderful program, and so many people have met their goals on it. Sometimes life throws things at you that you don’t expect. Everyone’s body is different and reacts to food in different ways and after seeing some of the things that could happen to me if I ignore my doctor, including death, I don’t think it is something I should ignore.
My letter to Nutrisystem:
I hope you are all having a wonderful week.
About a month ago I started feeling dizzy and felt like I was going to faint. I thought it was just because of the stress of my husband having surgery and taking care of him and my toddlers and lack of sleep. I started working out, and I was really happy things were getting back to normal. Then I got what I thought was a cold. Then 3 days ago the right side of my face started swelling and the right side my skull feels bruised. I went to the doctor yesterday because I was worried about the pain on my head. I was told that I have acute sinusitis, and that it is severe. I have been put on 10 days of antibiotics, and I was told to avoid quite a few food item, which are all ingredients in Nutrisystem food. I was told that it could take weeks to months to heal, so I figured it was best for me to stop doing the program.
I know Nutrisystem works, and I love it. I can write a final post showing my before and after picture and my 30-pound loss. I feel like you have been a part of my life for so long, and I am really sad that I have to do this. I really wanted to take it all the way. Quite a few people are currently on Nutrisystem journey because of me, and I love seeing them shed the pounds and enjoy the food because they were inspired by me.
Thanks for believing me and for giving me a second chance. Thanks for teaching me proper portions. I will try to still do the plan on my own by flexing with what I am allowed to eat.

I am not comfortable taking a current picture with my recent health condition, but once my symptoms improve and swelling goes down in my face I will take a updated picture. Thanks again for following my journey.
See ya next week!!
