It has been six months since I started my Nurtrisystem journey and since then I have lost 27.6 pounds. With the holiday season behind me, I am making my weight loss my number-one priority. I have set up my home gym, and I worked out for the first time in forever on January 1st, and I will work out again tonight. Usually when the kids go to bed, I would write a blog post almost every night, but during this time I will be taking a short break and only blogging on Wednesdays or Thursdays, unless I can fit the time in.
Nutrisystem was awesome enough to send me their new Turbo Take Off which is a seven-day program. I will be doing that on Jan 16th. It basically consists of unlimited non starchy veggies, breakfast, lunch, dinner, shake and a Nutricrush bar. Nutricrush used to only be in the form of a drink, so it will be interested being able to eat it instead of drink it.

I keep feeling like I am not losing weight fast enough, and it has started to become kind of a struggle for me, but my best friend Stephany reminded me that the average weight loss is 1-2 pounds a week and at Week #27 and having lost 27 pounds I am right on track. I am hoping now that I am putting my weight loss first and everything else second that my weight loss for the week will be a bigger loss. A lot of things factor into my weight loss, and a big one has been lack of sleep. I am really making sure that I get 8 or more hours if possible and not staying up until 2-3am anymore. I don’t even know how I survived November and December, I was so busy I think I got about 4-6 hours of sleep almost every night.
I finally tried PB2, and it was pretty tasty. I was surprised how much I could have for a powerfuel. It was like overflowing on my Nutrisystem Burger. I am thinking about making it runnier next time and trying it out as a salad dressing. I will have to go on Pinterest and see what others have done and get more creative with it now that I know I like it. They have a chocolate one also, but I haven’t tried that one yet.
If you have been thinking about starting Nutrisystem now is a great time to start. You will see deals everywhere. Check out Costco, Nutrisystem.com, QVC and even Walmart has started to sell a lot more Nutrisystem products. I have had a few friends say they saw Nutrisystem in their freezer section at Walmart.
Next week will be a youtube video if my new order gets here before Friday next week and I am pretty sure it will!
See ya next week!!
