Well, this post has taken an incredibly long time. We love this coffee table a lot, but our idea is what caused the delay. Let’s get to the unboxing first!
My husband got it all put together, and it was looking beautiful. Then we started our idea of building a train layout in the coffee table which has been a dream of my husbands for a long time. Only problem is that our two-year-old had other things in mind. We did it without either of my kids knowing hoping they wouldn’t realize there was a drawer, but my two-year-old figured it out, and I woke up to broken trains and track all over the living room and the drawer to the coffee table on the ground.
Toddlers are jerks right? So we are building a huge train layout down stairs, and we planned on slowly building this one, but my two-year-old kind of put a pin in the coffee table. We did go to Home Depot yesterday and bought a few things, so we can lock it and then attempt it again.
The coffee table is extremely beautiful and affordable and would make any sports or hobby fan happy to see this under the tree as long as no little minions are around. Haha.
This is my four-year-old. He is very good with trains, and I am sure his brother Henry will be at that point at his age.
We are still currently working on the coffee table, and I will update you when we finish it. This link is an example of what we want it to kind of look like.
This table is currently out of stock, but check back soon!
