My Nutrisystem blogging journey is coming to an end next Wednesday, unless they decide to let me continue their program. I really enjoy blogging about my journey and losing weight with Nutrisystem, so I am crossing my fingers. I feel like I am in a whole new place than I was last year, and I feel like I could get through the holiday’s easily with Nutrisystem by my side. (Update: I found out today 9/15/16 that Nutrisystem is extending my journey another 3 months! yay)
I feel like I have become very good at flexing my meals, so I wanted to share with you a day in the life with Flex Meals.
A day out on the town flexing meals!
WakeUp Wrap (egg whites and turkey sausage; egg white and veggie; or ham egg, and cheese) I usually get the turkey one.
Gordita Supreme – Chicken
V8 (Cold from home or from a gas station)
I personally don’t like salads from fast food chains. The lettuce tastes weird to me, so I bring my veggies in the form of a V8 to get my 4 servings a day if we won’t be home.
McDonalds Hamburger Kids Meals
When it comes to eating out dessert is a little too hard. I bring my Nutrisystem dessert bar.You are welcome to grab a banana or an apple at a gas station if you forget your bar to flex your dessert.
At the end of the day I was left with 3 powerfuels. If you will be home at the end of the day you can decide just to enjoy them when you get home or you can go into a gas station and get a cheese stick, yogurt and beef jerkey. Most gas station these days have a healthy section of food.
Flexing at home
Flex Nutrisystem breakfast. 1 piece of Sourdough bread 1 Smart Carb 2 eggs plus 3 tbsp egg whites is 2 powerfuels. Coffee is free. Nutrisystem Flex Dinner! Air Fried Country fried steak, small baked potato and green beans. The steak is 2 powerfuels and 1 smart carb making it a Flex Dinner. The cheese and baked potato are a powerful and one smart carb. Green beans are freebies. I can’t believe as of today I have lost 17 pounds! I am almost in onederland! The last time I saw 199 was in 2009. Whether Nutrisystem continues with me or not I will continue to share my weight loss journey with you! One thing I have learned is that if you follow the program to the “T” that you will see results. A few things I do want to work on is getting workouts in. After a day of chasing my toddlers around I am usually exhuasted beyond belief. I do a lot of walking and we go to the park quite a bit, but when it comes to workout videos and my elliptical I can never seem to find the time. I am hoping that if I can motivate myself enough to workout this week maybe I will see onederland next Wednesday! My favorite thing is all the new clothes I have been able to wear. It is definitely a confidence booster!
