I will never forget waking up a few years ago for work and putting my feet on the floor and I was in so much pain that I had to just sit down. I grabbed my cell phone and called out of work because I couldn’t walk to the bus.
I went to the doctor and got a foot x-ray and he told me that nothing was wrong. He gave me a wrap for my foot to humor me and I was on my way. I was in so much pain. I then made an appointment with a foot doctor. He shot my foot with Cortisone and I felt better for a day or two and then the pain was back.
So now I had two medical bills and neither had helped me. After talking to a co-worker about what was going on they suggested that I should get a foot insole. I tried Dr Scholl’s Pro Pain Relief Orthotics for Heel insoles and they worked almost immediately. I also started taking Aleve liquid gels on a daily basis and the pain was bearable. I could walk to the bus without a problem, etc. It has been about 5 years or so since that happened and I currently don’t have any pain. I do know when it flares up which is rarely these days what I need to do. I think being a stay at home mom and working from a home office helps. When my pain was the worst I was a cashier standing on my feet for 40+ hours a week. I also was wearing converse shoes and switching to comfy sneakers I think made a big difference as well.
