Adam and Henry both love music, so when I saw Magic Moves® RainbowJam™ on the Educations Insights website I knew they would love it. We opened it today and they were both eager to play with it. I loved how I could just peel open the packaging on the back instead of struggling with scissors to try to get the package opened.
Once it was opened all we had to do was turn it on and read the directions. It came with a really cool book with several different songs and tunes. Adam’s favorite was Twinkle Twinkle and The Wheels on the Bus. Then towards the back are a few songs he has never heard before and he just loved them. After we played with the book for a little while I decided to let him in on a little secret. You can touch any color in the house to get the music to play. I was so happy to hear that because with a 1 year old a 3 year old I wasn’t sure how long this little book would survive. I was happy to know that if anything were to happen to the book they can still play with their toy by pressing it on colors around the house. Examples: Couch, table cloth, book, t-shirt.
The wand has an off and on button and can go from medium volume to loud. One of my favorite things is that it came with batteries. Nothing is worse than opening a present on Christmas morning to find that a toy needed batteries. It has two modes. In one mode it just plays a key to a song and in another mode it will play some songs based on that color. Here is a short video of Adam playing with it below.
